Roots Management Group (Roots) is the newly formed parent company of two leading MHC & RV brands: Treehouse Communities and Vineyards Management Group. With their combined brands, Roots is already one of the top 10 largest MHC operators in the US.
What we do
Roots acquires, improves, and manages manufactured housing communities across the US. Each community is managed by either of its two management brands. Operations, acquisition, and management is strengthened by a central services group that provides best-in-class support across multiple functions, including accounting & finance, sales & marketing, legal& HR, and technology & operations.

MATT MATHISON
CEO – Roots Management Group
Matt has spent more than 20 years in various capital market, investment and operations roles and has held leadership positions at both private and public companies. Prior to his appointment in 2019 as the CEO of Treehouse Communities, he served as a managing member of the Fifth Partners investment committee overseeing a portfolio of real estate, oil & gas, and technology related companies.
TOM STAPLEY
President – Treehouse Communities
Tom has over 20 years of real estate and management experience and is a Managing Partner and Founder of Treehouse Communities. He uses his expertise in team building and communications to coordinate scaling operations across 14 markets, managing over 2,000 employees.
As a Founding Member of Invitation Homes, Tom oversaw $1B in capital improvements across 45,000+ homes. He has been involved in manufactured home community portfolio management for over 16 years and is currently the Vice President of Manufactured Housing Communities of Arizona and serves on the National Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds business forum.
